INDIA: Samsung has officially announced that it will not launch Samsung Galaxy Nesus smartphone in India.
Samsung announced Galaxy Nexus smartphone in October 2011. It was the first mobile phone to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Google announced that India would be among the initial countries where it will be launched but this did not happen and recently Samsung has announced on Twitter that this smartphone will not be launched in India, “The Galaxy Nexus will not be launched in India. Watch this space for the next big thing!” Many analysts think Samsung might have decided not to launch Galaxy Nexus in India because it fears that the smartphone might affect the sales of Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone.
