RIM shows TAT’s ‘Scrapbook’ app for ‘PlayBook’
February 19, 2011

SPAIN: Maker of BlackBerry handsets, Research In Motion demonstrated a BlackBerry PlayBook application “scrapbook”, at Mobile World Congress 2011.

The app was built by Swedish design and technology company The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) which was recently acquired by RIM with the native BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK. This application has advanced four-finger multi-touch controls and rich graphics. The app allows BlackBerry PlayBook users to create fun and exciting scrapbook-style montages. Photos and captions can be created and manipulated with ease, by using up to four fingers on the touchscreen simultaneously. The app has a large range of assets you can add to images, and the ability to take 3D photos once you are happy with your final scrapbook page. The Scrapbook app especially has a lot of potential for enhancing your images and allowing them to be shared.
